We have a job opening for a Medication Coordinator at our Madison, WI facility!

The Medication Coordinator will prepare, maintain and control complete records with respect to the investigational product.

Additional responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Receipt, inventory, accountability of investigational product
  • Correct handling and storage of all materials used on site
  • Preparation of dosing instructions, labels and of complex dosing calculation logs
  • Provision of suitable supply of emergency use medication
  • Dose preparation functions as appropriate for all trials
  • Author and maintain SOPs germane to the pharmacy
  • Assist the CRU Pharmacist with complex compounding
  • Responsible for ensuring the supply of all stock items
  • Ensures compliance with current FDA/GCP/ICH/USP regulations
  • Perform dispensing/dosing
  • Perform pharmacy feasibility review of assigned protocols
  • Maintain client facing responsibilities with regard to their test material

Education/Qualifications

  • Associate degree/BS degree in nursing or and LVN/LPN degree
  • Current nursing licensure in applicable state
  • CPR/AED Certified

Experience

  • 1 -2 years nursing experience
  • 1 year clinical research experience, preferred.
