    Covance Labs North America is seeking an In Vivo Pharmacology (IVP) Oncology Scientist at our Greenfield, IN site. This is a senior-level position in the In Vivo Pharmacology (IVP) Oncology group that provides scientific support to Study Direction, Operations, Management, Principal Investigators, and Contributing Scientists. You will interact with clients in pharmaceutical and biotech companies and serve as a scientific technical expert on the utilization of in vivo preclinical oncology models, including knowledge around xenograft models, PDX models, syngeneic, immune-oncology models.

     

    PhD with postdoctoral research experience and at least 2-4 years’ experience in developmental biology, cancer biology, immunology or related areas of life sciences

    Education/Qualifications

    • PhD with postdoctoral research experience and at least 2-4 years’ experience in developmental biology, cancer biology, immunology or related areas of life sciences

     

     

    Experience

     

    • Skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports

    • Experience in immunology, immune-oncology a plus

    • Client contact experience is preferred.

    • Some knowledge of in vivo oncology models utilized in preclinical oncology studies.

    • Track record of scientific presentation and preparing scientific publications.

    • Demonstrated leadership skills

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    • Knowledge of laboratory automation software and Microsoft applications.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate internal and external scientific interactions
