About the Job
Covance’s HR Business Partners will be responsible for solving complex organizational challenges through people related solutions. You’ll be integral part demonstrating an understanding of every aspect of the business and acting as a thought leader regarding People and Organizational topics. In addition, it’s your role to create the end-to-end People Strategy that will support Covance in realizing their wildest ambitions. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases to reinvent how work is done. You’ll partner with cross-functional groups of subject matter experts to develop & implement effective HR initiatives and strategies including talent and performance management, workforce planning and communication at the highest level. You’ll also have the opportunity to be hands-on, working side by side with other likeminded Partners to get things done for a variety of People-related areas. As a core part of this hands-on work, you will be rolling out programs to support Covance - including strategic development, employee relations and business consulting.

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be educated to Degree level (or equivalent), within Human Resources or related discipline (Masters or MBA preferred).
10 years of HR and/or combination of HR and Business Leadership experience.
