    The Pricing Analyst role will support budget development related to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clinical trials utilizing a proprietary excel based pricing model as well as other tools and analytical techniques to support data-driven decision making. This role can be onsite in Madison, WI or Raleigh, NC or we may consider remote based.

     

     

    Responsibilities will also include:

    • Utilizing operational expertise and industry experience to determine budgeting specifications to maximize profitability
    • Driving new business wins while also managing to margin targets
    • Empowering sales functions through effective communication of details related to trial pricing and ensuring the needs of clients are met throughout the pricing process
    • Coordinating management of various internal functions in order to drive expeditious and high quality pricing outputs requiring approval from multiple stakeholders
    • Participation in external client discussions related to pricing
    • Evaluation of relevant programs and benchmarks to inform recommendations of  potential structures for pricing and programs
    • Analysis of all pricing activities including discounts, allowances, pricing and commercial strategies, and contract price and develop recommendations to improve profitability and mix
    • Align pricing model details to clients’ expectations based upon operational expertise

    Education/Qualifications

    • Degree in Life Science, Business Management, Finance or related field.

    Experience

    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience with a preference of CRO or Pharma exposure in operations, contracts or proposals. Strong team development and time management skills. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Some exposure to clients.
    • Experience with the quality review of client deliverables Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
