    Covance has an open opportunity for a BioAnalytical Document Coordinator to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. This is an office-based position.

    The Document Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance, use, and preparation of document templates supporting a variety of departments within Early Development. Documents include
    production methods, organizational charts, training materials, and SOPs. In this position, you would have primary responsibility for departmental access and edit and version control for all method documents and serve as the departmental interface with eDOCs. You must have proven detail orientation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Additional responsibilities include:


    • Perform peer review of draft methods to ensure consistency of format and accuracy of content
    • Develop and maintain a process for the historical retention and archival of all methods
    • Maintain electronic versions of SOPs; prepare protected copies for client release; and maintain on-site hardcopy binders for clients, auditors, and new employee review
    • Prepare, distribute, and maintain training binders and associate documents
    • Manage site-specific Organizational Charts
    • Administer E-learning administration for the site
    • Read and understand study protocols, sample analysis outlines, amendments, regulatory requirements, and SOPs as they pertain to basic data retrieval and compilation from electronic systems
    • Possibly assist in the preparation of study protocols and reports within client-specific requirements and the incorporation of contributing information into study reports


    • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science or related field is highly preferred
    • Strong ability in utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel including the use of Word Templates


    • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Proven detail orientation skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
