    Are you ready to use your microscope experience to advance medicine?

    As a Study Technician (Research Assistant) - Pathology, you will perform basic necropsy or histology tasks on a variety of laboratory models. While ensuring compliance with the appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory guidelines, you will:

    • Trim wet tissues and embed into paraffin
    • Monitor animal health and welfare in compliance with the Animal Health and Welfare Act
    • Maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance

    This position is in Madison, WI. 


    Hourly Rate: $17.50 to $18.00

    What we’re looking for

    Study Technicians are the most successful at Covance with:

    • Bachelor degree in life sciences (with laboratory experience – academic is great)
    • Associate degree in laboratory animal technology, veterinary technology or histology with at least two years of related experience
    • A motivated, hardworking and positive work ethic, and a passion for research
    • Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays and overtime with supplementary compensation 




    • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences
    • Associate Degree in Histology, Laboratory Animals Technology or Veterinary Technology  AND (at least 6 months relevant experience)


    • Bachelor Degree - No experience needed (academic laboratory experience is great)
    • Associate Degree - At least six months relevant experience
