In this role, you will organize, conduct, and evaluate analytical results and testing to support BioA external methods and projects while maintaining lab equipment and participating in process improvement initiatives as you:

    • Assist in the set up and performance of method development and validation of various analytes in a variety of matrices
    • Set up, operate, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance of general lab equipment
    • Maintain study documentation and lab records and perform quality control review of data
    • Participate  in corrective action plans and process improvement initiatives and identify modifications in test methods and procedures as needed
    • May serve as lead chemist on projects 


    This position is office based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

    • A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field (experience may be substituted for education)


    • A minimum of 3 years of related lab experience or a higher level of education may be substituted for experience
    • Experience with and the ability to effectively use LC-MS/MS instrumentation
    • Knowledge of a variety of study types, analysis procedures, and methodology with the ability to perform complex analysis using unfamiliar or new methods
    • The ability to maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including problem identification and resolution
    • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a workload for large and complex projects
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail
