    We are currently hiring an on-call Research Nurse who is a Registered Nurse/RN for our pharmacology site in Madison, WI. This is a 3rd shift position. Great opportunity for those RNs who would like to earn some extra money along with their full time position. This is not a hospital position.


    Hourly Rate is up to $30.00 (based on experience).


    The Research Nurse will be responsible for study unit activities in the conduct of clinical trials with emphasis on the safety and welfare of study participants.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Be current with appropriate emergency certifications and company emergency policy and procedures
    • Utilize skills, knowledge, nursing diagnosis, and clinical judgment in order to provide a high standard of care for participants in clinical trials
    • Utilize nursing assessment skills to observe participant general well-being and potential adverse events, documents adverse events and takes appropriate action as needed
    • Obtain Informed Consent and continues the ICF process by educating, explaining and informing participants of study procedures
    • Administer investigational compounds (inclusive of parenteral) to participants according to the protocol and applicable regulations
    • Perform study related activities such as IV insertion, telemetry, holters, vital signs, ECGs, venipuncture
    • Collect and process biological samples according to the protocol and Standard Operating Procedures
    • Record data obtained according to the protocol and Standard Operating Procedures


    • Registered Nurse – RN licensure
    • Associates Degree or BS degree in nursing with current licensure in applicable state
    • Additional experience may be substituted for education requirements
    • CPR/AED certified 


    • 2-3 years nursing experience
