    We have a great opportunity for an Animal Care Supervisor to join our team in San Carlos, CA.  This role:

    • Oversees the animal care technician team and perform animal husbandry duties under the supervision of the Clinical Veterinarian.
    • Supports all duties expected of all animal care technicians, ensure proper daily colony management, complete necessary duties (documentation, ordering, inventory, cleaning, etc.)
    • Support the development and training of Animal Care Technicians.

    What we’re looking for in you:

    • 1 to 2 years in a Supervisory position
    • Experience in a laboratory setting, veterinary hospital, farm or kennel environment

    High School Dipolma

    College course work in Biology a plus

    Basic knowledge of animal husbandry, basic knowledge of physical plant maintenance.

    Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to act with discretion and initiative in cases of animal health and welfare by reporting all adverse conditions to the Clinical Veterinarian in a timely fashion.

    Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, anticipating problems and responding appropriately and in a timely manner; ability to act with discretion when interacting with clients. Strong communication and organization skills required.


    1 to 2 years in a Supervisory position
