    Do you enjoying following a recipe to mix solutions? If so, you could be a Study Technician in our Dose Formulations department.

    The Study Technician (Laboratory Technician) is a true laboratory position where you collect and document study data step by step. You will perform study calculations and specific techniques for test material formulation. In addition you will:

    • Prepare laboratory reagents, vehicles, diets, solution/suspensions, and capsules
    • Work in partnership with study directors, formulations coordinators and management team to ensure study quality

    This position is in Madison, WIl

     

    Hourly Rate: $18.00

    What we’re looking for

    Study Technicians are the most successful at Covance with:

    • Bachelor degree in life sciences (with laboratory experience – academic is great)
    • Associate degree in laboratory animal technology, veterinary technology or histology with at least two years of related experience
    • A motivated, hardworking and positive work ethic, and a passion for research
    • Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays and overtime with supplementary compensation

    Education for Dose
    Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry or related scientific field (Experience may be substituted for education)

    Experience

    At least six months at the level equivalent to that of a Dose Study Technician Trainee
