    Covance, a global contract research organization, worked on all of the top 50 best-selling drugs available today through its full spectrum of nonclinical, clinical and commercialization services.


    Through our work in Early Development Stage many lifesaving advances in medicine and safety have been drawn from the scientific discoveries made through animal research.


    Animal Technician at Covance are focused on the animal’s welfare, duties include but not limited to;

    • Perform daily care of primates including watching for signs of stress or illness, assist with administration of medications, blood collections and care of animals
    • Perform cleaning and sanitization of animal enclosures
    • Assist in preparing and crating of animal for incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Ability to work in outdoor climate, perform repetitive work and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
    • May be required to drive a company vehicle
    • For non-experience candidates pay typically starts at $12.00 per hour with opportunities for regular increases and advancement!
    • Day shift hours, requires working every 3rd weekend and some holiday coverage required
    • Extensive training provided!!! 



    What we need from you:

    • High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license
    • Passion for providing excellent care, commitment to quality and dedication to always to the right thing
    • Animal Care Experience highly prefer but not required
    • Highly prefer candidates with 2-3 years of stable work experience
